Hey everyone, it’s already October, and it’s a fact that here in the Philippines, people celebrate the Christmas season as early as September 1. I do not understand why it’s a thing here, nor why people insist on celebrating months early, but it’s a way to make sure everyone has memorized that Jose Mari Chan Christmas song by then, I guess.
You know what the Christmas season also brings? Gifts. Okay, I’m not really the type to actually go off and demand Christmas stuff from people. But here are things I want to have this Christmas, and I really want to be able to buy these things over the next few months:
Fitbit Charge HR
Lately I’ve been trying really hard to exercise. I’ve taken up running again, and I actually let Jepoy somehow drag me into that crossfit gym he frequents. What better way to motivate me into regularly exercising than an expensive gadget on my wrist, constantly measuring my movements and always telling me that I’m not good enough?

Microsoft Surface Book

My beloved ASUS Transformer T100 conked out on me a couple of weeks back. Don’t ask me why, though – it’s basically my fault. Hence, the Surface Book. It’s a pretty nice computer, and I really love the fact that it is both a tablet and laptop. It’s expensive as hell, though. I know a regular laptop will work out just fine for me, but look at the Surface Book.
I mean, come on.
Chucks II
I’m not much of a sneaker guy, actually. I really don’t give a crap about what I put on my feet as long as it’s not a pair of Crocs and my feet don’t feel like they’re about to fall off at the end of the day. That’s why I’ve never been big on Chucks.
Well, too fucking bad, because the moment I heard about the Chucks II and their Lunarlon insoles my old man feet and knees rejoiced.
Kindle Voyage
Have you ever been in a situation where you see everything that you have to do, and say “I’ll get to you… tomorrow?”
I’ve been in that situation far too many times. I have a crapload of books that I’ve yet to finish. Maybe, just maybe, having a dedicated ebook reader like the Kindle would keep me from noping out of A Feast for Crows to browse the ASOIAF subreddit instead.
BB-8
I really don’t have anything to justify this BB-8 with. It’s just so… cute. I mean, just look at it. I really want one, so I can play with it a couple of weeks, before I plop it on its charger, watch it bob its cute little head about, and forget about it for the rest of my life.
Pebble Time Round
I’m currently rocking a Pebble Steel, but just look at that Pebble Time Round. Sure, I’ll be trading off my current Pebble’s 5-day battery life, but come on, it looks leagues better than most of the round smartwatches out there.
Doctor Who LEGO
If it’s not obvious by now, you should know that I’m a pretty big Doctor Who fan. So it’s no surprise that from the moment they announced the Doctor Who LEGO set, I had my eyes on it and I would very much want to own one by Christmastime.
So these are the things I want for Christmas. What about you? What’s on your Christmas wishlist? Let’s talk about it in the comments!
