I Went for the Free Wifi at SM Megamall and I got a Magic Sing

Welcome back!

So last Sunday I went to SM Megamall for this event where a bunch of bloggers sit together, bring out their laptops, PSPs, iPhones, iPod touches, and any other wifi devices, and basically surf. You know to just go around the net and do the stuff that we usually do in your office or homes. Except us bloggers were in the center of the mall where we stress-test the newly-installed wifi to make sure it’s up to speed. Heh. That was a private joke there for all the bloggers who went to the event. You have to do a speedtest to get the punchline, you see, because- meh, nevermind.

My little Eee PC, chillin’ like a villain

Aaaaanyway, so I arrived pretty late. The testing area was already packed by then. I ran into Marocharim, Sha, Karla, Bong, Josh, Lizz, Jonel and a lot of other bloggers whose names escape me at the moment. (So guys, please, if we were in the same table and/or ran into each other, just leave a comment and I’ll add you to the list.) Read the rest of this entry »

Should I even care that my friends Ria, Andrew and Blogie (who are part of Mindanao Bloggers) are organizing it?

Frankly, I couldn’t care less. Read the rest of this entry »

So I arrived at Mall of Asia with The Mordo and Helga, incredibly late for the Buhay Coke ng Bloggers event at Taste Asia. I was particularly excited because the last two blogging events I attended at Taste Asia involved a lot of unlimited alchohol and food and nobody in his right mind would turn down such an offer.

Despite me wanting to soclialize and all, the memory of that girl who threatened to rip my “right testicle off and throw it into the bowels of Manila Bay” back from the first Taste Asia event daunted me. So I just hung out at the TMB and i.PH table with Mike, Bim, Fritz, Lauren, Liz, Marco, Ozy, Tahn, Cai, Wits, Mica, Yel, Madz, Uretz, Ting, Rico, Jayvee, Phoebe, and Kris.

Also, the TMB table was probably the noisiest of it all, owing to the fact that Bim and Mike were fighting over the affections of any random girl who passes by:

BIM: “Hey there little girl, if you were stuck in a desert island with me, Mike, and a goat, who would you choose?”

The goat won the tally by an impressive lead. Read the rest of this entry »
