Oh lookee! It’s September, and it’s time to break out the Christmas decorations because Christmas is just around the corner! Okay, not really, because, you see, you can’t put Christmas in a corner because it’s a metaphysical thing we call a holiday, and we really can’t shoehorn holidays in corners and– yeah? Well, fuck you too.

Anyway, since I am about to go on a rampage the next time I hear Jose Mari Chan’s “Whenever I see girls and boys selling lanterns on the street” being played around me, I might as well use this early Christmas spirit to help me out of this writer’s block. And people are already putting up their wish lists, I might as well make mine to give you people enough time to save up and buy me these things! Right guys? Guys?

The Complete Remastered Beatles Catalog

I really want this. I’ve been a big Beatles fan for as long as I could remember, and my biggest complaint about their albums is that they sound too tinny. Well no more. On 09/09/09, the complete Beatles catalog will be re-released, remastered! Seriously, I’m excited for this. No longer will I have to contend with vinyl rips just to get the optimal Beatles experience!

Also, I don’t want to download this box set. I want the real, physical albums! Yes, it’ll definitely cost a fortune, but damn, I’m pretty sure it’ll be worth it.

A New Laptop

So I bought me a laptop netbook two years ago as a Christmas present for myself. Fine and good, it was perfect when I first bought it. But now, I realized that I never log on to my desktop computer anymore and I might as well get something that doesn’t crash my browser every other minute, has storage space more than 4 fucking measly gigabytes, and is not slow as molasses.

Yeah. That’s all I ask for. An actual, working laptop that doesn’t crash and lets me surf porn work in peace. It doesn’t even have to be a friggin Mac, for crying out loud. But it won’t hurt if I did get a Mac. *nudge nudge wink wink*

Zoom B2

How the heck do I explain this? I’m a bassist. I use effects. My current effects pad is like over 10 years old and really, it’s been a bitch to play around with even back when it was state-of-the-art.

Anyway. I feel like I am due for a new set of effects, and the Zoom B2 is a perfect replacement. But it’s all bullshit for “that effects processor is pretty OMG I want it so much even though I don’t have any use for it.”
