So I missed Yuga’s Blogger Meetup last December. Well, I would’ve loved to join but of course work got in the way (doesn’t it always?). You see, working in the call center industry isn’t doing much to improve my social life. Even Jhay was able to make it, and he’s living in Cavite. AND HE HAD THE FRIGGIN’ TIME OF HIS LIFE!

Here’s a litte bit of our Gtalk conversation after he got home from the party:

ME: So, how was the meetup?
JHAY: It was awesome.
ME: ORLY? Tell me more so I’d get envious and—
JHAY: Yeah. I met them bloggers, and I got to hobnob with them. And we also made fun of people who promised they’d make it and then not suddenly show up. You know, like YOU.
ME: Ok already!
JHAY: Dude, you know what?
ME: Yeah?
JHAY: You suck.

And to add insult to injury, even my fellow editors at The Man Blog hated my guts when I wasn’t able to make it:

MIKE: So, did you go to the blogger’s meetup?
ME: Um, no.
MIKE: Fag.

So let me get to the point here. There’s this new opportunity to meet them awesome bloggers again. The Blog Parteeh ‘07, an invitation-only blogger meetup and, um, party, will be held at January 27. I’m not gonna miss this opportunity now. I know some of you are still traumatized after meeting me in the BlogCon (right, Karla?). I promise not to scare you off when I meet you.

Well, the Philippines can’t take something like this seriously mainly because it’s a big bunch of islands and can’t think for itself. But we Filipino bloggers are.
